Hi Lorna – can you put this on the blog please.

Out and about: 17th and 24th April
On the 17th and 24th April Champions will be having a stand at our the Protected Learning Time events on 17th & 24th April. GPs and practice staff use Protected Learning Time to update their knowledge, skills and understanding. These events are held at the Nottingham Gateway Hotel, where projects or organisations hold stands and promote their services. It’s a great opportunity for Champions to interact with the GPs and highlight what Champions of Change does. Lisa Jackson, the project coordinator will be accompanying the community volunteers.

Champions are on their way to London, despite travel disruptions, to the Prostate Cancer Knowledge Cafe. This training event will help identify the educational needs of healthcare professionals in relation to inequalities in the diagnosis, treatment and management of prostate cancer.
